DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

Our Company fully understands your concerns regarding the protection of your personal data. Recently, we have implemented a number of changes reflecting the enhanced requirements of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (known as the "GDPR"). Our aim is to be as transparent and clear as possible regarding the personal data we collect and the way in which we process them.

I. Personal data we collect and purposes of processing

Account Creation

Where users wish to create an account in our online store, completion of a form including their full name and email address is required. In addition, users choose a personal and unique password in order to access their account.

Product Orders

Users who have created an account in our online store may complete their purchases electronically. In order to place an order, completion of a form including billing, shipping and payment details is required.

Our Company also offers the possibility of purchasing products to users who have not created an account. In such cases, full name, contact details, billing information, shipping details and payment information are collected through a specially designed form.

Reviews

Our Company values your feedback regarding its products. If you wish to submit a review for a product, we collect your full name and your comment.

Wish List

Our Website provides the possibility to add your favourite products to a “Wish List”. This functionality is available both to registered users and website visitors through the use of cookies .

“Tell a Friend About the Product” Service

We consider it important that you may share your preferences or comments regarding our products. If you choose to use the “Tell a Friend About the Product” service, your name, your friend’s name and both email addresses will be collected.

Social Plugins

Social Plugins are used on our Company’s website.

Through these plugins, our Company may only access publicly available information on the relevant platforms. The operation of these plugins is governed by the privacy policy of each respective platform.

Communication

If you wish to contact us for any reason, you will be asked to complete a form including your name, email address, telephone number and message.

Please note that communication may also take place by telephone through the number displayed on our website.

Newsletter

Users wishing to receive updates regarding our Company’s news and offers may subscribe to our newsletter by providing their email address.

II. Legal basis for processing

Our Company collects and processes your data in order to fulfil our contractual relationship, namely to be able to deliver our products to you or take measures at your request prior to entering into a contract.

In the case of commercial communications and newsletter distribution, the legal basis for processing is your consent.

Please note that in certain cases we collect or process your personal data in order to comply with our legal obligations.

III. Data retention period

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary according to the purpose for which they were collected, unless otherwise required by law.

If retaining your data no longer serves a clearly defined and lawful purpose, we proceed with the secure deletion and/or destruction of your personal data in accordance with our Company’s “Data Retention and Deletion Policy”.

IV. Disclosure and transfer of personal data

Our Company discloses your personal data:

a) To authorised employees,

b) To entities entrusted with carrying out specific tasks such as, indicatively but not limited to, lawyers, providers of IT products and/or services, support providers for information systems and electronic networks, administrative support companies and marketing companies.

c) To supervisory, independent, judicial, prosecutorial, public and/or other authorities, bodies or parties entrusted with auditing or monitoring the Company’s activities within the scope of their responsibilities.

V. Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation grants you a series of rights and options which we are committed to respecting. Therefore, you may request that we:

  • inform you about the data we hold concerning you and the way in which we process them. If you wish, we will also provide you with a copy free of charge. (Right of access)
  • correct inaccuracies or errors, complete missing information or update your data. (Right to rectification)
  • erase data, provided that we do not retain them for a specific, lawful and declared purpose. (Right to erasure / Right to be forgotten)
  • restrict processing a) while you contest the accuracy of the data, b) where you consider the processing unlawful (but do not wish erasure), c) where the data are no longer necessary for processing purposes, and d) while verification is pending as to whether our legitimate grounds override those invoked by you for terminating the processing.
  • object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data, especially for direct marketing purposes or profiling. Such objection may also concern compliance with decisions taken solely by automated means. In the latter case, you may request human intervention. (Right to object – Automated individual decision-making)
  • receive your data in a specific format (usually machine-readable) or request direct transfer to another controller, where technically feasible and subject to legal requirements. (Right to data portability)
  • withdraw your consent freely at any time so that we cease processing your data on that basis.

Our Company will respond to all requests within one (1) month. In exceptionally rare cases where fulfilling your rights is particularly difficult, we will promptly inform you and explain the reasons for such inability.

If you believe that the applicable legal framework for the protection of your personal data is being violated, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
